The following chart shows the number of people each brokerage helped place into work in 2004 and 2005:
NB: ACE was set up on 1 January 2005, so 2004 figures quoted are for its predecessor Employment Solutions; Jobs Junction was set up in October 2004, so 2004 figures show one quarter to Dec 04.
Retention rates have been good – around 80% of people employed by the NHS were still working after six months.*
* This figure relates to the three health and social care brokerages only and not to the construction brokerage where many people were employed on a mix of short and medium term contracts
