Performance standards
Your performance standards should be set to focus on recruitment and retention results. A good starting goal is to aim for 60% of people into jobs and 70% retention after six months, plus a qualification attainment if appropriate. Others might include:
- A minimum starting salary.
- Progression aspirations
- Job outcome targets for specific client groups, eg Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic groups, lone parents, people with disabilities, incapacity benefits claimants, the long-term unemployed.
- Equal opportunities measures to ensure disadvantaged applicants have a fair chance of competing for available positions.
