The soft launch (stage 2 beta) of Wheell was celebrated at the Toynbee Hall, on the 27th October. Amongst the guests, was Eddie Nestor, BBC London Radio host and former star of the television series Casualty.
Eddie opened the event with a short speech outlining the need for such services and the opportunity for success available. He was followed by Justine Cawley (NHS London), Joshua Rey (London Employers Coalition), Sheila Laverick (Jobcentre Plus), Shamsul Haque (Ewave Designs), Ezekiel Obileye (London Employers Coalition), Colin Zetie (Groundwork) and Audrey Hunter (Newham PCT). All of whom contributing a fair share of input towards involvement in Wheell and the beneficial outcomes.
The launch marked a significant step forward in reaching out to peers and collegues, as Joshua Ray of London Employers Coalition said "This is the end of the beginning".
