Who to engage

Location

Where you site your jobs brokerage is extremely important. It can make the difference between success and failure. Where possible, base the brokerage on, or near to a hospital or health centre to allow easy access for local people. Good access will encourage passing members of the public to use the work placement and job-matching services on offer.

The size and scale of your office location is just as important. From the start, try to build in capacity for future expansion. If your brokerage is successful, you will need increased space to conduct screening interviews, you’ll need more staff to handle enquiries and this means a larger office space.
